ENTRE. NELLE CORRENTI.

ENTRƎ is a collection about entering.

The name comes from the French words entrée — entrance, passage — and entre — between.

Because entering a new space is never completely innocent. Sometimes, before you can enter, something has to break: a balance, a routine, a boundary, an idea of who you were before.

The collection lives inside that moment.

Crochet becomes its main language: slow, repetitive, imperfect. A structure made equally from thread and empty space. Each garment carries hours of manual work, deadstock materials, mistakes, changes and decisions that remain visible instead of being erased.

White, beige and black trace a gradual transformation, moving from purity and possibility towards contamination, experience and reconstruction.

ENTRƎ by SSPOTROCK was first presented on August 28, 2026 at Molo di Sant’Antonio in Bari. Collection by Elisabetta Maria Morleo.

The project was developed in collaboration with CANTIERE EVENTO, Rossi Restauri and Essere Oceano, with music by Mattia Vlad Morleo and Luigi Morleo, choreography by Virginia Miraglia and dancer Elisabetta De Berti.

ENTRƎ later continued at Spazio Murat, becoming an exhibition and a space to observe not only the finished garments, but also the process behind them.

Essere Oceano is a cultural programme that reimagines the construction site of Bari’s future Museum of the Sea as a space for connection, exchange and participation. Through events, workshops and installations, the programme explores themes related to the sea and invites people to collectively imagine the future of this place.

It is not only about entering somewhere.

It is about what happens to us while we are crossing the threshold.

WHITE CAPSULE

White represents an initial condition, a balance that is still intact.

It evokes nature before human intervention: the movement of water, currents, wind,
and all those invisible systems that continuously cross and transform the landscape.

The ocean is never truly still. Even what appears pure and silent is crossed by forces, variations, and constant changes.

White therefore becomes the starting point of the process: an apparently untouched surface, already open to transformation.

RED CAPSULE

Red represents transition,
the moment in which existing balances begin to shift.

Natural currents encounter those generated by human activity: consumption, production, pollution and climate change enter prexisting systems, progressively altering their rhythm.

The colour becomes stained, layered, and loses its original uniformity.

Beige therefore occupies an intermediate state, it no longer fully belongs to the beginning, but has not yet reached what comes next. It is the colour of contamination, instability and transformation still in progress.

BLACK CAPSULE

Black represents the consequence of transformation.

It is the moment in which everything that has passed through the system leaves
a visible trace and permanently alters its balance. Currents continue to move,
but they now carry the effects of human activity and the climate crisis with them.

Black does not necessarily represent an ending. Instead, it describes a new, denser and more complex condition, in which nature and human intervention can no longer be separated.

Just as the ocean retains and returns what enters it, transformation carries the memory of everything that produced it.
